My mother didn’t get the COVID-19 vaccine in time and ended up in the hospital for a month and a half. Two months later she is still on oxygen. However, I have been able to get fully vaccinated and all of my children have been vaccinated one time so far as well. From these experiences, I hope that the current widespread availability of the vaccine will continue because it really does save lives and has played a significant role in changing the course of this pandemic.
